5-Ingredient Mondays: Stuffed Bell Peppers, Blackberry Ginger Chia Jam & Caramel Sauce

When I registered for the Registered Holistic Nutritionist Program through CSNN I was already working full time but wanted to learn more about my hobby. I had realized that when I got home from work I was reading articles about nutrition for fun. I decided to make my learning more formal.

A few months into the program and my procrastination was back and back full force. It wasn’t until I fell six months behind that I found the motivation to really focus. And focus did I ever! For about six weeks I worked on school in the morning before work, during lunch at work and when I got home from work. I am pleased to say that those 6 weeks of focus paid off because I am not only caught up with school work, I’m actually a few weeks ahead!

Now that I’m ahead, I’m going to take a break…and not just any break, a break from everything! Therefore, this 5-Ingredient Monday will be open until noon on Thursday AUGUST 8th. Feel free to link-up a few recipes during this time! You can check out last week’s submissions here!

So basically anything that is likely to be found in most peoples kitchen/pantry does not count as an ingredient, neither do optional ingredients. Examples of kitchen/pantry staples may include spices, baking soda, baking powder, milk/non-dairy milk, oils, etc.
  2. Recipe must be gluten-free. Bonus for recipes that are also dairy-free and double bonus for plant-based recipes.
  3. Lastly, please leave a link to your own recipe that goes to that week’s 5-Ingredient Monday post, not on this static page.

Your recipes don’t need to be from this week, but it does need to be your own recipe. I will sometimes share photos of the recipes with links back to your blog, so by sharing your recipe, you are giving me permission to use your photo and link back to your recipe.

  5. This is great Erin! I’m in Canada too and this is great to hear about this school. I’ve been actually thinking of enrolling this Sept. but I was considering The Institute of Holistic Nutrition. This is great timing to compare these two before I sign up 😉
