5-Ingredient Mondays (Watercress Soup, Sunflower Seed Hummus & Orange Julius Kale Salad)

It is a beautiful day here in Toronto! So beautiful that I want to be outside instead of inside. I’m therefore going to follow the spirit of 5-Ingredient Mondays and make this post quick and simple 🙂

Check out last week’s submissions here.

Here are my favourite submission’s from last week:

Watercress Soup from Candida Diet Plan

watercress soup

Sunflower Seed Hummus from Gluten-Free Cat

Sunflower Seed Hummus

Orange Julius Kale Salad from Cats in the Kitchen

This week I’m submitting my Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Bites:

Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bites

There’s my submission, what will yours be this week?

Please review the following guidelines before linking up:

  1. Recipe should contain 5 ingredients or less, pantry staples excluded. So basically anything that is likely to be found in most peoples kitchen/pantry does not count as an ingredient, neither do optional ingredients. Examples of kitchen/pantry staples may include spices, baking soda, baking powder, milk/non-dairy milk, oils, etc.
  2. Recipe must be gluten-free. Bonus for recipes that are also dairy-free and double bonus for plant-based recipes.
  3. Lastly, please leave a link to your own recipe that goes to that week’s 5-Ingredient Monday post, not on this static page.

Your recipes don’t need to be from this week, but it does need to be your own recipe. I will sometimes share photos of the recipes with links back to your blog, so by sharing your recipe, you are giving me permission to use your photo and link back to your recipe.

  2. Hey Erin–I just left Toronto yesterday afternoon after being there for the weekend to speak at the Canadian Celiac Association conference. It was a great experience and I loved being in your area! This week I’m linking up my Homemade V-8 Splash Tropical Blend recipe that I shared in a guest post over at my friend Linda’s The Gluten-Free Homemaker. Hope it’s okay to share a recipe link that’s mine, but not on my site. 😉 Have a good week, all!
