I’m a sweaty person. I’m especially sweaty after a good spin class. And since I spin frequently I need to ensure I keep hydrated. Lucky for me I was given a very generous gift for Christmas, a juicer! Staying hydrated got easier and tastier. This juice is a good source of both sodium and potassium, which makes it perfect to sip on after a good sweat inducing workout. Way more refreshing, delicious and healthy than any sports drink on the market!
Post-Workout Re-Hydrating Juice
This light and refreshing juice will quench even the most intense of thirsts. Throw an ice cube or two in if you’re looking for a cooler sip.
- 1 English cucumber
- 4 stalks celery
- 1/2 cup parsley, packed
- 1 lemon wedge (approx 1/5th of a lemon)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut water
- Juice the cucumber, celery, parsley and lemon in a juicer according to your juicers instructions.
- Mix with coconut water and enjoy!
